Kyler Miller

Before joining North Gem, Mr. Miller taught computer science at Irving Middle School and coached girls' basketball at Highland High School. "My time in the classroom and on the sidelines shaped my deep appreciation for education and the impact strong relationships have on student success." Mr. Miller is passionate about teaching and learning, and believes "there is no greater work than helping students grow, discover their potential, and achieve their goals."

Background

Education has always been a personal and professional priority. Mr. Miller earned a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Idaho State University. He then pursued a Master of Arts in History, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a graduate certificate in Geospatial Information Science. Additionally, he holds a K-12 principal endorsement and is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education, with a focus on building trust in leadership and improving student success through targeted interventions.

Mr. Miller’s mission is to continually expand his knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum development, and student engagement strategies, and he is eager to bring those experiences to North Gem. He is committed to fostering an environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
